TR : AKA The Handy Man

Or "Mr. Fix-It" if you will. Sunday, after we got home from Idaho Falls, TR fixed my dishwasher! YAY!! We've been going without it since we've lived here, and it's been just fine, but TR thought he would have a go at trying to fix it.

We had to pull it all the way out.

He even had to get all the way under the sink!

(The dogs wanted to help.)

The dogs didn't leave the kitchen unless we did. I think they missed us.

It took a little effort, but when all was said and done, our dishwasher works like a dream! I'm so happy! I really do have the most wonderful husband I could have ever asked for.

Idaho Falls

This last weekend we got the opportunity to go to the Idaho Falls Temple with the Taylor family for their sealing! It was SO special, and we're really greatful we got to join them. We've gotten really close with the Taylors recently, since we've started doing Family Home Evening with them. It's been really fun. Hanna and I were close growing up (she's my cousin) and it's been SO fun getting to know Eric more. He's a great guy. We were really excited when we found out that we would be able to go with them to the temple for the sealing of Hanna, Eric, and Brandon. It was a very special and spiritual experience. We also got to do some fun things while we were there. We walked through the Pharaoh Exibit at the Museum of Idaho, and stopped in to see my best friend in Logan on the way home.

The Idaho Falls Temple.

The Great Falls of Idaho.

Us with the Temple.

Another shot of the temple.

TR took some GREAT pictures of Hanna, Eric, and Brandon. They were all absolutely glowing! It was so great!

This one's my favorite.

Johnny flew in from Arizona so he could be there too, and was asked to be Brandon's escort. The spirit was imediately stronger when Brandon, sleeping and peaceful, was brought into the room. It was very touching. There's no doubt these precious babies come straight from heaven.

We Did Some Cleaning...

And now we have fire wood to last us for ever!! Which will be great when we can use it for bonfires. It also helps with our food storage.

We had a GIANT cap of Ivy on our chimney. Luckally, TR was able to push it off. He's so strong.

This is what part of the mess we cleaned up looked like.

My yard was SO messy! But it was nice to get everything cleaned out.

After many scrapes and much sweat from TR, Cody, James, and Jason, the island between our house and the Mathews' house looks great now! We can actually see our neighbors! I played my part...I got popcicles for everyone. That's important too, right?

Help Me...

Obi Wan Fawn-obi. You're my only hope.

One of two things happend here:
1- We rescued her from the sinking Titanic
OR
2- She got out and rolled in something foul and needed a bath
