"My Best Day In Utah!"

Dawson, Jacob, and Sam came to play with me last week while Jen went to get Glen from the airport and have lunch with some good friends. At first I was only supposed to watch Sam, but Jacob wanted to come along, and then Dawson couldn't pass up the opportunity to play Rockband! It was so much fun to have them all here! After Sammy and I had a little walk around the block (long story involving a runaway dog that we were watching), and some tears over TR leaving for work and a little someone not quite getting the hang of Rockband, I decided to order some pizza and put Sammy down for a nap. Jacob was my BIG helper when it came to ordering. I did it all online so he got to help me click the right buttons. It was so fun. When the pizza finally got here and Dawson found out it was Pizza Hut pizza, with EXTRA PEPPERONI he happily exclaimed "This is my best day in Utah!!" Dawson, Jacob, and I decided to have a picnic on our front lawn in the one shady spot.

As we started I thought how fun it would be to invite our family neighbors over to join us. I called and they came right over. They had some cousins playing with them too, and since we had so much pizza and breadsticks and cinnamon sticks we told them to come on over too. A picnic is ALWAYS more fun with lots of people, right?

After the pizza, everyone wanted to come inside and see the dogs. I'm sure Mimi, Linus, and Fawn enjoyed all the attention they go this last week, as well as Momo, the neighbor dog we were watching (AKA: The Ugliest Dog) . Even my niece who is afraid of dogs gave Linus a few pats. She likes him much more now.

After everyone was gone, the boys got some quality NES playing in.

When Sam woke up he was hungry hungry hungry and loved the pizza I had for him.

He was also very fond of the dogs. He laughed every time he would turn away from one and there was another "Pat Pat" right behind him.

He wanted to play rockband too. He was a big fan of poundin' those drums.

Eventually, as all good things do it had to come to an end, but at least I will always have the pictures to remember the good time it was!

Berk Came To Play

After the dinner on Saturday following the Tanner's sealing Berkley decided that he wanted to come home with TR and I to see our dogs, since he was recently a dog owner himself. Even though his dog-ownership was short lived, he still really likes dogs and wanted to come see mine. So he came to play with his Grimm Cousins. He wasn't quite sure what to think of Linus at first (he's really big compaired to Berk's shih tzu puppy) but after he convinced himself that he was really a nice dog (he kept saying that over and over and over) he was fine with him. He was okay with Mimi from the start cause he remembered Mimi from Grammy's house. He liked Fawn best, as most little kids do. She's just perfect little kid size. He thought it was pretty fun to play fetch with the dogs, especially once he found out that he could hold Mr. Tiger, pretend to throw him and the dogs would still run after it. He even got pretty tricky near the end.

He got so attached that he climbed right into Linus' kennel!!

He tried to climb into Fawn's but hers is a little smaller. Only his head fit.
(He's saying "Hey!! Mimi's licking my ear!!")

We loved having Berk come over and play with our puppies and he's invited to come "babysit" any time he wants! It was a good time. It was hard to go to bed when it was time. The dogs didn't want to go in their kennels and Berk didn't want to sleep in the room with the pink sheets and big flowers on the wall!

Congratulations Tanner Family!

The Tanner family got sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on Saturday! HOORAY!! It was a great experience to be in the temple with them as their family got sealed together for time and all eternity. I'm grateful we could be there!

They looked angelic all dressed in white. These sisters love each other so much.

So do these sisters.

Me and My Jeffrey (don't tell anyone, but I'm his favorite.)

He's trying to be a secret agent.

The temple looked SO beautiful on Saturday.

We're so excited for the Tanner family! Congratulations!

CAUGHT!

Blue Nosed and All!! Fawn got into some of TR's blue art supplies...and apparently they tasted pretty good.

Off To The Farm

Since Sarah and Johnny are on an Alaskan Cruise for their anniversary, Mom has Daniell for the week! Since mom has to work, and I'm currently unemployed I took her today while mom was at work. She had some fun playing with the puppies outside while I made lunch.

Linus is almost as big as she is!

She thought it was funny to look through the window like the dogs did.

After Grammy got off work, we went and got the Mabs and took her with us to the Thanksgiving Point Animal Farm. It was so fun to see all the farm animals!

I love Daniell's face in this picture.

One of the calfs licked Daniell's shirt!

The pony ride was lots of fun, but Mabs looked like she was about to fall asleep.

No trip would be complete without ice cream!! (Of course, truth be told, we started with the ice cream, but the statement is still true.)

It was a really fun day. I'm so glad to have these little kids to play and experience things with! Thanks for taking me with you Grammy!

For Old Time Sake...

I found these at my mom's house and thought I would post a few of them...for old time sake, and to show what a dang cute baby I was!

That tree is huge now.

That's my Berney.

I still have that doll at my mom's house.

Here's one of Nate. He's so cute too.

Now I just need to convince TR that it's okay for me to take pictures of him as a kid and scan them in too. ;)
