Dawson, Jacob, and Sam came to play with me last week while Jen went to get Glen from the airport and have lunch with some good friends. At first I was only supposed to watch Sam, but Jacob wanted to come along, and then Dawson couldn't pass up the opportunity to play Rockband! It was so much fun to have them all here! After Sammy and I had a little walk around the block (long story involving a runaway dog that we were watching), and some tears over TR leaving for work and a little someone not quite getting the hang of Rockband, I decided to order some pizza and put Sammy down for a nap. Jacob was my BIG helper when it came to ordering. I did it all online so he got to help me click the right buttons. It was so fun. When the pizza finally got here and Dawson found out it was Pizza Hut pizza, with EXTRA PEPPERONI he happily exclaimed "This is my best day in Utah!!" Dawson, Jacob, and I decided to have a picnic on our front lawn in the one shady spot.

As we started I thought how fun it would be to invite our family neighbors over to join us. I called and they came right over. They had some cousins playing with them too, and since we had so much pizza and breadsticks and cinnamon sticks we told them to come on over too. A picnic is ALWAYS more fun with lots of people, right?
After the pizza, everyone wanted to come inside and see the dogs. I'm sure Mimi, Linus, and Fawn enjoyed all the attention they go this last week, as well as Momo, the neighbor dog we were watching (AKA: The Ugliest Dog) . Even my niece who is afraid of dogs gave Linus a few pats. She likes him much more now.
After everyone was gone, the boys got some quality NES playing in.
When Sam woke up he was hungry hungry hungry and loved the pizza I had for him.

He was also very fond of the dogs. He laughed every time he would turn away from one and there was another "Pat Pat" right behind him.

He wanted to play rockband too. He was a big fan of poundin' those drums.
Eventually, as all good things do it had to come to an end, but at least I will always have the pictures to remember the good time it was!
